Proof Readers

We all have an inherent problem with letter blindness by the very nature if how we all read, we don’t read each individual letter that we see, but can predict the word by a combination of seeing a few letters at the beginning, middle, end and guessing what the word will be in context with the rest of the content we have just read.

This issue is gets even worse when you are reading something you have written yourself, as we tend to read what we want to see, as opposed to what is there – as we know in advance what we are indeed supposed to be reading.

It is very difficult to read your own work even for the most seasoned of translators and we therefore recommend that if the translation has not been done in your native language, that you pay for a second person to proof read it for you.

In some instance, proof reading can also be a cheaper alternative to get a certified declaration that a document is a true translation of the original, if you can translate the document yourself, but do not have the authority to sign the translation.
